Connect
Connect GitHub from the terminal. Pass --help for the flags GitHub accepts.
praxen integration connect --type githubInstall the Praxen Inc. GitHub App on your organization.
GitHub connects through OAuth by installing the Praxen Inc. GitHub App. There are no tokens to manage, and you choose exactly which repositories Praxen Inc. can see.
Setup
- Click Connect GitHub. You are redirected to GitHub to install the Praxen Inc. GitHub App.
- Choose the organization or account to install it on.
- Grant access to all repositories or pick specific ones. You can change this selection in GitHub later.
- Approve the installation. You are returned to Praxen Inc. and your repositories start syncing.
What agents can do
- Search code and read files across the repositories you grant
- Pull pull-request and commit context during investigations
- Open pull requests for autofixes, always for you to review
Disconnecting
Remove the Praxen Inc. GitHub App from your GitHub organization under Settings → GitHub Apps, or disconnect it from Praxen Inc.
Disconnect
Disconnecting stops every sync and check and deletes the credentials Praxen Inc. held. Praxen Inc. removes what GitHub's API lets it remove. The following stays until you remove it yourself:
- praxen/onboarding/* branch and Set up Praxen Inc. PR
- autofix branches and PRs
- check runs on past commits
GitHub is connected through an app installation, so disconnecting happens on GitHub's side: uninstall the Praxen Inc. app from your installed GitHub Apps. Praxen Inc. is notified and removes the integration.
